This was a fun, sexy read that wasted no time introducing the hero and heroine and the overall plot. Dennis, AKA, the Dangerous Deputy, comes across as a real man, and a nice guy so it’s not hard to dislike him. Julia, is down on her luck and just when you think things couldn’t get worse, Dennis is the knight in shining armor.
The dialogue is very natural sounding and the plot moves at a clip, but what I liked most about this short read was it wasn’t one sex scene after another. There’s some talking, some walking, and some cuddling while watching a movie. It helped build the sexual tension and made the sex scenes that much more worthwhile reading (and waiting for).
If you like cops as heroes, and enjoy a short erotic read then I think you might enjoy story of the Dangerous Deputy.
