Heart-pounding and fast-paced, this packs a punch! This story has equal shared action and mystery, with a hint of romance and powerful friendships.
From the start I could tell that Asta was going to be an interesting character to spend time with. Now I only wish I could spend more with her! This story is packed full of emotion and fast-paced, while still being easy to follow, and constantly drawing the reader deeper into the story and mystery, lies and discoveries.
The story is solid, both the writing and characters are enjoyable and easy to keep up with. I loved the lore of the gods and the different kingdoms. It felt a bit historically inspired, while also having a mythology/SFF type setting that worked well together.
This story deals a lot with kingdoms and warriors, with gods and blessings/abilities thrown in, but I could see a lot of different readers enjoying this story, with strong characters, and detailed story-line this book is one that’d likely appeal to many readers.
