Jeanne Birdsall-The Penderwicks-This was a perfect book to read in the late Summer.
Deborah Hopkinson-The Great Trouble-My children and I found this one fascinating.

Clyde Robert Bulla-Viking Adventure-We’ve read several books by Clyde Robert Bulla, but this is probably my youngest’s favorite of the bunch. He is fascinated by Vikings!
John Peterson-The Littles-My youngest read this book by himself and it really captured his imagination!
George E. Stanley-The Clue of the Left-Handed Envelope-Another book my youngest read. He had a great time figuring out the codes and solving the mystery. He enjoyed it so much, we read the second book in the series too!
