Rachel Warner is plunged into a living nightmare as Richard, her ex-husband, makes good on his threat to obtain custody of her son, the light of her life. He launches a full-scale campaign to discredit her in the eyes of the courts. Thrown into a state of utter despair, Rachel – unfairly – turns on Daniel Haines, blaming him for her situation, ending their relationship.
Devastated by her cruel rejection of him, Daniel, nevertheless, vows to win Alexander back for her. Ultimately, Rachel must undergo a great deal of soul searching and learn to let go of her fear of emotion. In the end she will have to swallow her pride if she is to win Daniel back. ♥ ♥ ♥ An emotional rollercoaster that will have you laughing, crying and growling in frustration! Rachel Warner is a completely relatable character – your proud, single mom, struggling to do the best she can for her son. Her struggles and predicaments could happen to the best of us, whether our exes are upper class jerks or not. Full of intriguing characters and a gripping story that you just beg to have a happily ever after, I was so involved in this that I had a hard time putting it down, and I was left wanting to know more about everyone involved. With loveable characters, steamy but not explicit loves scenes, and a story you can put your heart behind, Letting Go is a definite must-read. |
