"The Painter’s Eye for an Eye" starts off on a high note and just keeps rolling along! The past is fast, the images vivid and the tone is so wonderfully humorous I had a smile on my face from beginning to end! What a perfect little story! 

Sarah is such an over-the-top, engaging character, especially when her back’s up, as it is through most of this. She has definite ideas—very definite ideas! Her being an independent woman of means as well as a public persona gives her, she feels, the right to give voice to her ideas. A painter of some notoriety she puts certain flair on the sleepy streets of the tiny town in Maine where she lives. When  she meets a man who isn’t at all what he first seems, one whose convictions and willingness to stand behind them matches hers, Sarah realizes she just may have found her match.

I loved the way Sarah and Errol were both larger than life. They aren’t flat, ho-hum characters. Instead their words and actions are vivid and believable. I could see everything, right down to the brand-new 1919 roadster vying for a place beside older, messier horse-drawn transport. There isn’t anything not to like in "The Painter’s Eye For An Eye". It is a fast, fun read!
